Potluck

Louis Lim

17 - 18 May 2019

Louis Lim is an Australia-based photographer whose work explores diversity in human conditions, specifically those that are under-represented in mainstream media. With a keen interest in light, Lim’s practice focuses on non-fictional visual storytelling and conceptual photographic portraits with a collaborative methodology. Potluck exemplifies cultural diversity in Brisbane by documenting its communities’ dining habits; some feast at a table, some eat on the floor, and some dine in front of the cold light of a computer screen.
